  • Lovely apple crumble

    4 out of 5

This apple crumble is perfect in terms of its consistency. It is not too dry or mushy with the apple and juice like liquids in it.

  • Yummy class

This is one of my Dad’s favourites. Delicious still warm with a side of custard. If you want apple crumble and don’t feel like making it this is a great choice.

  • Not bad

    2.5 out of 5

This is what you serve when you run out of time to make a real dessert. It is nice served with vanilla ice cream. Wouldn’t really go out of my way to buy it but will eat it if served.

  • Tasty apple crumble quick dessert option!

    3.5 out of 5

Quick and easy dessert pop in the oven until heated through and hot serve hot with custard I break it up and place in serving dishes with custard then cream then a sprinkle of cinammon and a crushed gingernut biscuit. Makes an easy dessert a table stopper.

This apple crumble is so yummy, specially with some ice cream or custard and a bit of dolloped cream. best desert to have when you have visitors over or on a winters night

  • Warming for Winter

    4 out of 5

On a cold wintery night we sat around the fireplace and shared Nanna’s Crumble Apple some of us topped it with runny thickened cream whilst others preferred chocolate and cinnamon sauce. It was a warm and comforting delight either way and a surety for future winters.

  • Always a hit with the kids!!

    4.5 out of 5

My kids would have it for dessert every night of the week if I let them!! So easy to cook and goes great with icecream!!

  • Great winter dessert

    3.5 out of 5

It’s not too sweet so it pairs well with ice cream. The tray itself is not portioned so once cooking the whole thing there is quite left over if serving for less than two and it doesn’t heat up as well the next day. It would be good if they were portioned somehow to bake the desired amount.

  • The crumble is certainly crumbly!

    3 out of 5

I like this apple crumble, I think it has really nice flavour but the crumble is just a little too crumbly for my liking. When you get a nice cluster it is delicious but when serving it most tends to get left behind in the tray. I will buy it again but probably only when it is on special.

  • Greasy crust

If you like greasy margarine, this is for you. If you like butter and clean natural foods, stay away.

  • a classic

a classic and a good go-to dessert to please everyone when entertaining.
most people will ask for a bigger bowl or a side of icecream! Yum.

  • Thumbs up!

an oldie but still a goodie. Delicious pieces of apple and a tasty, sugary crumble to top it off. Add custard for a perfect dessert treat.

  • A wonderful apple crumble!

    4.5 out of 5

Nanna’s Crumble Apple is delicious and fabulous served with some homemade custard; happily recommend but buy on sale as it is quite expensive.

  • Comfort food at its best.

    4.5 out of 5

I love Nannas Apple Crumble the crumbly sweet crunchy texture of the topping reminds me of home as a child …pure comfort food for me. Hubby alas is not a crumble fan.
Nannas does a super job of this divine dessert and it really is perfect for that cold wet and miserable night when comfort food is appreciated…its like a warm hug.
