    I found these quick and easy to cook but didn’t like that they didn’t brown to my taste. They also were a little starchy in taste, not as soft and moist as I would like. I actually needed more seasoning on mine too, but having said all that, I think they are one of the more value for money and acceptable brands available.

    My partner loves these and he’s super fussy, I’m not really a fan. There nice enough but I find they get a powdery chalky texture cooked in both the oven and air fryer.

    Birds Eye oven fry fish cakes were on the whole not one of my favourite type of fish cakes but they were okay and I always feel I can trust the Birds Eye brand because I enjoy so many of their other products.

    The fish cakes cook up lovely and golden. Just the right amount of crumb. I love a fish cake between two slices of bread slathered with Tartare sauce. Yum.

    these fish cakes have been around for longer than i can remember! im 52, and remember eating them as a 16 year old at my grandparents house!! i love them, they kind of have like a potato inside, which is fluffy and light, and seasoned,
    my kids love them in a bun with lettuce, and…. i cook them in the oven, no oil, just on a tray!
