I was a bit sceptical when I first bought this as I wasn’t sure how it would turn out but it was really quite convenient.
You don’t have to worry about it going off like the fresh stuff and it’s portioned in a way that makes it easy to cook in batches.
Logan Farms Chopped Spinach Portions, is always ready from the freezer to a meal. We love Spinach & Ricotta cannelloni so I buy this on a regular basis. We love it.
Great source of iron, already chopped frozen spinach is a great addition to any recipe that requires cooked spinach. The only thing I’m not a fan of is squeezing the excess water out before using
These are great to have in the freezer. Perfectly portioned out so you can just toss into a casserole or soup to add extra veg and nutrients. I always have this on hand.
Used this in a vegie soup. Much easier then using fresh and always available in the freezer. I like that I know how much to use as when buying fresh the quantity is much harder to determine.
This spinach is absolutely delicious in my cheese and spinach triangles. Having it frozen means I’ve always got some spinach good to go. Fantastic product
I use this as it is really easy to work with for dips, omelettes and making spinach bread with it. Just drain the excess fluid first very easy to prepare
Logan farm is by far the best frozen spinach I’ve come across. It retains its flavour and doesn’t dissolve when defrosted. It’s the only frozen spinach I buy. The problem is that Woolworths seem to have a big time gap from when they run out of it and when they have new suppplies. I check the frozen section every week and buy two or three packs.
This is by far my favourite frozen spinach. I use this in my spinach and ricotta cannelloni. A quick zap in the microwave, squeeze out the water, and I’m ready to use it.
My usually excellent blitzer cannot handle the strings in Logan Farm spinach. Makes my smoothy stringy – yuk. Other frozen portion spinach brands are fine, though.
I love having a box of the Logan Farms Chopped Spinach in my freezer. The individual portion blocks are super genius so you don’t have wastage. I use this in stirfrys, quiches, cob loaf etc
This is one product that should be a mainstay in people’s houses. Few recipes I cook require fresh spinach and Logan Farm always thaws and cooks up well. I use this product a lot and I love it.
I love that this product stores easily in the freezer and I can just pull it out as I need to so I can add it to a pasta sauce or risotto for a handy serving of veges.
This spinach is a great product to have in the freezer to add to pies, vegetable lasagne and the like. It is quite tasty, easy to work with and nutritious.
This is a good spinach product. It is good to use in my cob loaf dip or put through meals like lasagna for some extra goodness. Its finely chopped so it’s easy to work with.
I keep Logan Farm’s chopped spinach portions to add as a side to many of my evening meals, especially when fresh greens are expensive. I like to fry up the spinach in a little olive oil and garlic – it’s very very nice.
This is not the nicest frozen spinach on the market. It’s very soggy and flavourless compared to other brands I’ve tried. It’s ok used as a filler in bakes and dishes and works a treat as an ice pack.
I have bought this on and off over the years and find the taste is nice. We grow our own spinach and I usually get this when it’s not spinach growing season. It needs to be drained a bit first because it’s quite watery and I just put it into a colander or sieve to defrost. Very cheap, convenient and no waste.
I use this frozen spinach a lot to add extra veg into so many different meals like bolognese, curries, pasta and fritatas. The Logan Farm Chopped Spinach Portions are so convenient particularly if I am not wanting to use the whole pack as I don’t have to try break some off, rather just pull our a few portions.
This is a great product to have in the freezer. It goes really well in pastas, quiches, lasagnas, sauces and on pizzas. Any where that you need a bit more green and a bit more nutrition.
This is a great idea. I use frozen spinach in smoothies and this makes it so easy to pull one out and pop it in the blender. It’s also great for when cooking with frozen spinach but you don’t need a whole pack, it makes portioning a breeze.
Logan Farms chopped spinach is always in stock in our freezer. I always have packets available for my recipes. It is in a handy little box and takes up very little room in the freezer. It is easy to use and the taste is good too.
I can honestly say that I thought I would be the last person to purchase frozen spinach but in desperation I bought it & I’m really impressed. It has cut down my blanching & washing up time when I’m making spinach & cheese triangles.
We have a box of this brand spinach in our freezer as well. It is great to add to other meals you are making to give it a boost of nutrients. The cubes defrost fast and the size of the chopped pieces is really small.
If baking with it, you do need to squeeze out the extra water or it makes baking soggy.
I always have a box in the freezer. It is so easy to throw a few frozen cubes into my soups, stews and Bolognese sauce to help bulk it out and add that extra (hidden) vegie content. I have defrosted them to add to quiches as well – just squeeze out the extra liquid. Kids eat it no worries.
