As far as quality goes for mops this is up there. When you substitute for cheaper brands it’s instantly a mistake. Soaks up spillage well and doesn’t leave a big wet residue.

I have a new mop head but I had trouble pulling my mop through the rollers on my bucket as I’m getting weaker and I had to change what I used.

Pretty much the only mop I’ve ever seen my Mother use for years and years. Will not try any new mops, because this is her favourite.

Ah, the humble mop, the original and the best, nothing can beat this simple mop, wrings out well, can apply pressure to scrub off anything hard, and easy to dry, simply stand upside down in the bath or shower so that the head is off the floor and leave overnight!

This mop would be 5 out of 5 star if only it’s easily squeezed without the need to touch by hand, the absorption is amazing and last very long.

Found the oats mop to be of great quality it wrings out well and doesn’t shread and leave it’s stringy pieces all over the place after a few mops. Long lasting and great clean

The Oates mop is sturdy and doesn’t go stringy like other brands. It rinses well and lasts a longer than other mop brands. Easy to use and leaves floors clean

If this mop can survive our house than it is certainly sturdy. I have had this for a while now and it is still going strong through big family messes. Two thumbs up

I have tried numerous mops over the years and this mop is among my top choices for a good, durable all-round mop. Its able to get into tough spots that some modern style mops can not bc of the shape and sizes that the modern flat rectangular mops etc. Its able to clean the floors many times over and stil be used again and again.

I used to use sponge mops until i bought this. Once you get the hang of it it removes dirt so much better. Sponges are good at spot removal but this is good for dirt as well as spots. Works great

If you ask my husband, he might suggest I am obsessed with the floors in our home. I own three mops and a steam mop. The Oates mop if my favourite to use as it has a smaller head, rinses easier and doesn’t leave as much water on the floor like my vileda and my sabco mops.

This oates mop is wonderful. Can be used to wipe any wet areas, it soaks well, but need proper cleaning after use. Otherwise it works amazing and cleans the floor like just new.

I’ve used Oats for many years! They are the main mop and broom set on sale at my local supermarket and are reasonably priced. I prefer to steam mop my tiles. But I do use this mop for a quick mop up of wet areas. Perfect to use but if it’s not rinsed and hung in a way to properly dry, it will smell very badly!

This mop lasts a long time until the head needs replacing. Mops well and is not too heavy once wet. I rinse well with fresh water after use as I think this prolongs its life.
