  • Used to be my favourite

    1.5 out of 5

I first noticed over the last few months that the recipe has definitely changed.
It’s been my favourite bread for about 15 years.
Now the texture is drier, crumbly and has lost the moist yeasty elasticity which appealed to me over the competitors turkish bread.
How disappointing. Should have followed the old rule…..if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
I thought I imagined the changes for a while but today I tried it again and compared to the old recipe this new bread seems stale and dry.
Obviously a cost cutting reason but one which they may regret.

This Turkish bread seriously is so delish!
We use them to make cubanos and they are the perfect bread for them.
They have a really nice crisp to them on the outside if you toast them long enough but are still nice and soft on the inside – so good!!!

  • Love it!

Slice it, spread some garlic butter, and pop under the grill just for a minute or two. Serve on the side of the plate, when having a roast, veg and gravy. Enjoy, can use it to also mop up the gravy. Lovely bread, always enjoyed.

I use this for dinners when I’m running short of time. Half it and top it with our fav toppings and pop it in the oven. Comes out soft and crunchy!

  • Ahh

Turkish bread beats all other breads. It goes perfectly with most meals especially spaghetti or just as a sandwich.. A simple salad sandwich goes well with this bread.

  • Perfect for pizza

Bought this and used it for Turkish pizzas with meat and pineapple. Base was crispy and my fuss pots loved it so much that they are bugging me to make again.

  • Addictive

    5 out of 5

I love this Turk bread not just for the flavour but also for the versatility. I cut it into 2 halves longways. Sometimes I make it into toasted garlic bread, other times I slice into 1cm slices to use for dips and other times I make up toasted subs. Mmmmm. A family fav.

  • Great for dinner parties

I love this Turkish bread. I brush it with olive oil. Cut it into long strips then put it in the over for 5 mins and then serve it with hommus where guests use it to dip themselves. Yumm

  • Makes for the perfect garlic bread

    4 out of 5

This bread is hands down the most amazing base for home made garlic bread! Unlike some of the other breads, the garlic butter doesn’t soak in to the bread only to disappear, it absorbs it but leaves enough to still be juicy and garlicy and cheesy when you bite in to it! We have also used it to make paninis and they were great too, but my favourite would be the garlic bread!

  • Good

Delicious bread, I’m usually very picky with my bread. But this one is very tasty, and soft. The whole family loves it and enjoys it

We get this every week and have with our meals. Wrap it in foil and put it in the oven a bit to give a bit of crispness. Awesome with pasta dishes and anything really!

This Turkish bread with dips and grilled meat is the best. Sometimes I use this bread to make brushetta too in summer with tomatoes and getting cheese.

  • Turkish Bread

    4.5 out of 5

I always purchase turkey bread as I use it often. Yes I have it with curries and casseroles but the best is for hamburgers or egg and bacon rolls .The bread has more taste to it rather than rolls and does keep the burgers together.

  • Delicious for dipping!

    3.5 out of 5

I love serving this Turkish bread with soups, casseroles and other meals with yummy sauces, liquids or gravies etc. It is also nice on its own, or with a bit of garlic smeared on it and lightly pan fried!

Sometimes I will split it down the middle and add some sliced chicken, pineapple, Jarlsberg cheese and bacon and then grill it quickly using a sandwich press, or add salami, feta, some Kalamata olives & baby spinach leaves then slice up and our family will have it as a snack, or lunch. Very versatile bread!

  • Sooo tasty.

This Nomad Turkish Bread is lovely and soft and so very versatile. My favourite way to enjoy this bread is to cut it into slices and then cover/smother the slices with garlic butter and fry on med heat till golden brown. Delicious.

  • Great

I like this bread and I use it to dip into soups and casseroles. I find that it is light yet still filling and it is easy to digest. The price is okay but could be better, but I will definitely keep buying it.
