  • Favorite jelly flavour

    4.5 out of 5

Aeroplane jelly is our top pick of jelly brands, and port wine the top flavour. Great as a treat by itself or with custard, we love popping it in our Christmas trifle every year.

  • Simply the best!

You can’t go past the port wine jelly flavour! I remember eating it with my Nan when I was little & now my own kids love the flavour! It is sweet but not overpowering

  • Aeroplane port wine jelly

    5 out of 5

This is by far my fluorite flavour jelly out of all of them. It always had a nice strong flavour over the other flavours.

  • Old classic

    3.5 out of 5

This particular flavour of jelly is my grandmas favourite! I love the sweetness of the jelly. It’s perfect with added fruits or even on its own.

  • Nice flavour

    3.5 out of 5

Hubby bought a whole bunch of flavours for our toddler and this was one of them.
Unfortunately she wasn’t a fan but I didn’t mind it.
It has a sweet, berry like flavour and I think it would go perfectly in a yet l trifle!

  • Delicious!

    5 out of 5

Aeroplane port wine jelly is a family favourite to buy and eat.The flavour is delicious and it is excellent with assorted fruit and vanilla ice cream.

  • Fun sweet with rich flavour

    4 out of 5

Easy fun to make this, and this jelly flavour is a favourite for the rich purple colour and taste, and good for an occasional sweet treat with ice-cream or trifles, or serve as is.

  • childhood

supremely delicious taste! Oh my! A taste that will bring me back to childhood and making jelly with my mother. Very bold and great quality it rocks.

  • Christmas trifle

    5 out of 5

This is my go to flavour in my Christmas trifle. It tastes amazing in that with fruit and cream. Christmas would not be the same without that flavour jelly!

  • Favourite of all time

    5 out of 5

This is my favourite jelly of all time. I can eat bowls of Aeroplane port wine jelly – I simply love it. Put it with vanilla ice cream or cold custard and it’s even better. Just love the flavour, texture and goodness. Easy to make and easy to swallow.

  • Only flavour and brand I buy

    5 out of 5

When I think of jelly I imagine this exact brand and flavour. It always has been and always will be my aeroplane jelly, aeroplane jelly for me!! I love it. I don’t let my kids touch this one – selfish mumma makes it just for herself haha

  • My Go-To

    5 out of 5

I love Aeroplane jellies, I buy them most of the year, but especially at Christmas time. Make heaps of sweets with them, including trifles, Etons Mess (although I’ve changed it quite a bit!) and I use three different coloured jellies. Love the effect.

  • Meh flavour

    1.5 out of 5

I love jelly but have never been a fan of his flavour. I love that it’s purple but I think I just had a bad experience as a kid which has tainted my view on this flavour

  • Childhood fave

    5 out of 5

This always was and always will be my favourite flavour. Love this with home made trifle. Kids love it too, can’t bear aeroplane jelly.

  • Best flavour

    5 out of 5

I love the flavour of Port Wine aeroplane jelly. It’s a family favourite!
If there was one disappointing thing it’s that there’s only one packet of crystals in the box. It’s been a long time since I purchased jelly (until recently) and I was sure it came with more packets

  • Love

    5 out of 5

I love this product. The jelly is wobbly and stiff enough to put tge bowl upside down. Its the best flAvour, port wine flavour yummy

  • A classic

If I buy jelly, I always get at least one of these. Nice flavour, not too sweet and perfect to have with cold custard as a nice dessert. A snack favourite in this house

  • Great for desserts

    5 out of 5

I love this jelly for making trifle with. It gives off a great colour and flavour. It is super simple to prepare and it sets to a great consistency. The price is incredibly cheap and it makes quite a bit. Great around Christmas time especially.

  • converting the kids

We all love Aeroplane jelly in our family and I have recently introduced the kids to this flavour which I love. We often make jelly cups for parties or school morning teas for the kids. Aeroplane jelly is always delicious and the Port wine flavour in a nice robust flavour.

  • Port Wine

The original Port Wine aeroplane jelly was a staple since I was a child. Going on thirty years now and it’s still something that makes its way into my cupboard today.

When I think of jelly this is flavour I think of! This is my family’s favourite flavour and I was raised on it as well. It’s a nice sweet flavour not at all like port but very delicious.

  • This is my favourite flavour

If you are looking for something a little different that still hits the sweet spot this is it. A nice change from the standard strawberry or lime.

  • port wine jelly

    3.5 out of 5

I thought this would be a very distinct flavour but it fun and my son seems to like it this is deffinantly something to have on occasion full of sweet and sugar!

  • Very tasty jelly

    5 out of 5

This is a great product by Aero plane, taste great by itself or have it with some fresh ice cream, great for a kids party’s made with custard and in a serving glass layers of each looks great and taste nice give this flavour a try 10\10

  • Purchase all the time

    5 out of 5

Port Wine is my most favourite Aeroplane Jelly. The crystals dissolve quickly when stirred into boiling water from the kettle. I make a jelly and custard dessert where you make the custard and stir in some white chocolate. Let to cool. Make the jelly by adding one cup of boiling water and 200ml of cold water. Pour the jelly over cut up strawberries and leave to set. This is so tasty. Great also as just a set jelly or a traditional layered dessert.

  • Addictive Flavour!!

    5 out of 5

It is my absolute favourite and I will never get sick of it. I love a few other flavours and the new ones i’ll need to try. Oldies are the goodies.

  • Trifle perfection

    5 out of 5

It seems I am not alone in endorsing this as the flavour to use in a trifle. My mum used it, I use it and the trifle would not be the same without the depth of the colour of this jelly and the taste.

  • Versatile and Delicious

    5 out of 5

This jelly has been used for fifty years in my Aunty Eve’s Christmas Trifle. My gosh, I feel blessed to have a copy of the recipe. Another use, is to add fresh fruit for an amazing snack, that is incredibly yum and easy to eat…

  • Kiddie

    3 out of 5

This used to be my favourite jelly as a kid, I think because it had a stronger flavour than the others. But now I realise how much sugar is in it!

  • My favorite

    5 out of 5

Port wine is my all time favorite and my nan used to have it as one of the only treats in her house so it brings back good memories to. The flavor is great without being to sweet, and its perfect in a trifle.

  • Port wine... an older fav!

    5 out of 5

This is a favourite for using in things. Not so much for eatting on its own (prefer lime) but love it for trifles etc, it has a great flavour but not toooooo sweet!

  • A stapl in our cupboard

    4.5 out of 5

I keep lots of these in the cupboard. They are great with icecream and sometimes I make them in small cups for single serve for the kids. My eldest made wiz fizz out of it. He found a recipe in his science magazine and the three kids ate the lot. Needs to be made quite a few hours before you want it but great taste.

  • Port Wine Perfect for trifle

    5 out of 5

Port Wine is the only jelly we use in our trifle and we just love it. Aeroplane jelly delivers with this jelly. Easy to make, sets well and tastes great.

  • My favourite!

    5 out of 5

Port Wine jelly is my all time favourite flavour! Aeroplane is the best brand of jellies in my opinion, great value for money! They are great for trifles also, as the previous poster mentioned.

  • This is the Jelly my Nan recommends!

    5 out of 5

My Nan recommends this Jelly for her famous Trifle. I remember buying her the ingredients once and she made sure I knew which one to purchase! And trust me – the Trifle is delicious!
