  • Very oily and heavy feeling

I used the recommended amount on my hair and it left my hair with a very odd smell. My hair felt very weighed
down and heavy so I did not use this again.

  • Perfect for damaged dry bleached hair

    5 out of 5

After going from dark brown to platinum blonde, my hair was in dire need of some TLC. That’s when I stumbled upon this hair oil – a total lifesaver! It’s super nourishing and hydrating, giving my thick, coarse, and dry hair a much-needed boost. Although it may not work for finer hair type, I’ve been using it 1-2 times a week and have seen a considerable improvement. Get ready to rock luscious locks!

  • Lasts forever!

If I had not decided to go all out and get my hair chopped off I would give this product a five star rating, it was great on my hair when it was long but on shorter hair, it doesn’t really work for me as such. Such a shame as I still have a lot of it left in the bottle and I’ve had that bottle for a long time!

  • Not great

    2.5 out of 5

I found this product left my hair feeling really oily and heavy. I get that it is an oil but it didn’t feel nourishing and left a greasy residue.

  • Okay product

    2.5 out of 5

I would only use this sporadically as if I have used it on damp hair after a shower a few times it seems to leave a build up of product that doesn’t wash out easily and my hair feels oily.

  • Not bad,

Bought after readig some great reviews. Firstly, i love the scent, it’s scrumptious. I felt like it nourished my hair, but it was short term fix. Didn’t quite get the result i was after

  • Nourishing

I usually use the L’Oreal extraordinary oil as a treatment before washing my hair. I work the oil through the ends of my hair and then slightly down the longer strands, leave on for at least 20 minutes and wash out. My hair feels amazingly soft and looks so silky. I also sometimes rub a couple of drops between my palms and lightly dab over my hair after styling it.

  • Decent hair oil

I use this oil for my daughters curly/frizzy hair and it keeps it nice and soft.

I love the smell of it and you don’t need to use alot at all. Keeps hair soft and manageable

  • Wonderful

    5 out of 5

I bought this L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary oil from Coles recently because it was reduced to $1.00 I just couldn’t pass it up and am so happy I bought it. It’s wonderfully enriching on my hair with just a couple of drops. It actually amazes me how far a couple of drops of this wonderful oil with cover. I believe it’s normally about $20 at full price but it would last a very long time as you don’t need very much.

  • Not happy with this oil.

    1 out of 5

I have tried many hair oils with success but for me personally this L’Oreal Elvive extraordinary oil rates at the very bottom. I don’t know if it is because I like argan oil and this product does not have any in it.
The oil comes in a 100ml dark orange GLASS bottle ..yes that’s right glass, not my pick for a bathroom product, one accidental knock over and you are in deep trouble. The oil it’s self is clear, so not certain why the need for the dark orange-y bottle, as this colour is usually for argan oil but back to the oil. Personally for me really for the price ..which I consider quite expensive, I may as well have just put water on my hair as really I could not notice any real improvement. The oil is supposed to be from 6 precious flowers but the fragrance its self is not that great. It sells for $20.00 a bottle but I purchased it on 1/2 price thank goodness ..if I had paid full price for this oil I would have been mighty cranky.
