    I really like this book. So often I pick up a cook book with recipes a mile long. Safron and other things you have to buy. Use a tiny amount of and the rest goes to waste. This book is exactly what it says it is. If you want cheap and easy meals this is your bible

    Jamie Oliver can cook at all levels. Five star Michelin restaurant meals, super healthy meals, meals to save you money. He is a brilliant chef with so much passion he wants to share that love with as many as possible

    I got this book on sale at Woolworths and it’s full of great recipes and tips. Jamie shows how to store and use leftovers and lots of other ideas. It’s great if you are on a budget and one of our favourite meals in this is Hit n run chicken.

    Great way to learn to cook whilst saving money. Jamie has lots of interesting recipes and healthy ones too. I would definitely buy his book but then I’m a fan.

    We all love Jamie in this family and I have purchased nearly all of his books for my son. This cook is amazing and actually focuses on the cost of producing a recipe. Cheaper cuts of meat and even frozen veggies are used. This definitely is a great book for struggling students, cash strapped singles, flourishing families …oh darn just anyone it’s brilliant.

    I’ve always loved Jamie Oliver recipes, and own 5 other cookbooks of his, but, as with most cook books, not much consideration was ever given to cost of ingredients. Until this one. I’ve made a few so far and it really does help save money. You’ll find recipes using cheaper cuts of meat, canned and frozen produce, dry spices, etc, and all to GREAT effect. I applaud a chef who decides to use frozen spinach in a recipe and maximizes the overall flavor. I’m really excited to continue on through this book!
