This creamed corn is exactly the same as every other creamed corn, but with a branded price tag. It is fine and works, but has no edge over other brands.

  • Love this on toast

    5 out of 5

Edgell creamed corn is a great item to have in the cupboard, it tastes great by itself or on hot toat with a bit of pepper but I always use it when I make savoury muffins or zucchini bake I generally throw in a can of cream corn for that extra flavour.

  • Summer staple

    4.5 out of 5

During the summer, I usually tend to stock up on these and have numerous cans in the cupboard. These are fantastic in salads and may be eaten directly from the can, which is what I do throughout the summer.

  • Handy pantry staple

This is a regular in my pantry as I use it for my corn fritters and to add to my chicken and corn soup the corn is lovely and sweet and the cans stack well in the pantry.

This is great tasting, I have tried other brands and this is the one I come back to. I use it in my Chicken Corn soup and this is where favour is important. I make Savory Pancakes as well. Also they have some great recipes on the can wrapper.

  • Good taste and Australian grown

    3.5 out of 5

Good brand and Australian grown corn kernels with no preservatives which is a bonus. Use these a lot in corn fritters and soups, and also good in cheesy corn jaffles.

    5 out of 5

This is one of the tins that I always have in my pantry. They can go towards the making of a very simple meal of sweetcorn soup. My kids love it. I add some pasta, beaten egg, water and a sautéed onion and dinner is ready. Healthy and nutritious.

If you haven’t already tried, this is great in Pumkin soup!

  • Sweet and creamy

    4 out of 5

To me, this is a strange thing to do to corn, but it’s perfect in a soup I occasionally make which is Chinese Chicken and corn soup. I usually put 2 tins in and one tin of corn kernels and it’s really sweet and creamy. I really can’t eat this creamed corn any other way, it’s too sweet and rich.

  • Best on shelves

Perfwct for corn fritters and chicken and sweet corn soup, the freshness of the corn is indisputable. The sweetness and texture are everything you want in creamed corn.

  • Creamy corn jaffles

    4.5 out of 5

Some of my family love creamed corn and would happily eat it every day whilst some can’t stand it at all even though they love corn in other forms. I make creamed corn jaffles in the sandwich maker and they remind me of CornJacks if anyone else remembers these.

I love creamed corn although no one else does in my family.
I have it as a side dish with steaks and hot chips or as a quick snack accompanied with toast and butter.
