I do like ‘fancy’ pasta… by this I mean anything that’s extra big! It holds the sauce better. Fresh is better but this is great to have in the pantry for when you don’t have the time to make it yourself or go to the supermarket.
As far as packet pasta goes, Barilla is the best and was recommended to me by an Italian lady who also uses it. It is a reasonable price too and I stock up when it is on special,
I love really eggy pasta! It tastes so much nicer! This goes beautifully with a bit of good quality olive oil, garlic, parsley, chilli and salt and pepper!
