Onion works well with any meal, whether vegetarian, vegan or pure meat. This French onion is a non offensive base to any meal, adds that hearty flavour with low effort!

This is a great casserole base, especially with chicken. We also like to use it in potato bakes – a delicious alternative giving a lovely taste.

This is delicious.. I do normally add some green beans, carrot, sweet potato and onion finely cubed to the mix to bulk it up and extra whole grain mustard then slow cook it so the beef just falls apart. Perfect when teamed up with homemade garlic bread!

I love Hot Pot casserole bases – French onion is awesome, just add chicken, broccoli, mushies and apricot nectar for an absolutely top meal. YUMMO
