Followed recipe (1st mistake) and basically all I could taste was watered down tomato sauce.
Very unappetising. Would have done better without Maggi satchet.

Maggi’s range of recipe bases are so handy and good to have on hand in the pantry. They are so easy to use and deliver a flavour hit. Tomato and onion sausages made with this base is tasty.

I love these Maggi sachets – they are a great base for a flavoursome casserole or stew. This tomato and onion sausages one is a bit salty, but you can add some extra water if the taste is too strong, or a tin of tomatoes.

There’s just something about packaged stuff, maybe all the additives and preservatives. They just never taste as good as home made. Very disappointed with this
