Some imported seafood is good to eat, but sadly this isn’t one of them. Might be a lot cheaper, but just didn’t like the texture, the taste, cooked ok, but not the ideal fillets to have.

I accidentally purchased imported barramundi fillets thinking they were Australian, and I was shocked when i tasted it. Never again – the fish itself was very watery yet very tough, and the pieces were very small. Will only purchase Australian from now on!

Normally buy bass fillets but decided to buy barramundi on special. I didn’t enjoy the taste even with a lemon and herb sauce on top. Even the texture was wrong. Not for me.
