I like using smoked pork bones to add flavour to homemade soup broth. Pork bones are great for making a homely bacon flavoured, vegie soup, great for winter dinners.
I regularly make pea and ham soup during winter. I usually use bacon bones for that ham flavour. These bones were on special so I thought I would try these in my soup. Not quite the same flavour as bacon bones provide, A very subtle flavour replacement
