Using a donut maker these little mini donuts make the perfect treat for little hands.


Ingredients (serves 4 | makes 20 Mini donuts)

  • 125g Softened Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Caster Sugar
  • 1 TSP Vanilla Essence
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 Mashed Banana
  • 1 Cup Self Raising Flour
  • 1/2 Cup Custard Powder

Method

  1. Turn your donut maker on and preheat. Alternatively preheat oven to 180 Deg and use a greased mini donut tray.
  2. Mix all Ingredients together as if making a cake.
  3. Pour small spoonfuls in each ring using a soup spoon for better control and cook until slightly golden
  4. Optional: While still sweating dip the donuts in edible glitter. Alternatively ice the donuts with sprinkles.

  • Im not that keen on bananas so not too sure about this one.

    Baked donuts are healthier then fried donuts.
    Mashed bananas, coconut flour, and almond meal can make a super-healthy base for fiber-rich breakfast doughnuts. Dark chocolate and honey can do sweetening, while vanilla extract adds extra flavor. Or what about pumpkin donuts with a maple glaze ? Or ever tried a cashew cinnamon glaze ? so many variations possible with beautiful pure ingredients.

  • Fantastic looking and sounds easy to make. Will do this when the grandchildren come over and they can dip the warm donuts in the sprinkles or glitter.
