When you have bananas that aren’t being eaten and you need to use them up then this Banana Ice Cream is a great and simple way to make sure they don’t go to waste.

Once you’ve made your basic Banana Ice Cream you can add toppings, nuts or even a touch of cream to the mixture before freezing if you want to play with flavours. Children love ice cream and this definitely is a winner in our household. You don’t need more than one banana, use whatever you have!

  • Basic Banana Icecream is you mash fairly to very ripe bananas well. Put it in a freezer suitable airtight container and freeze it. You don’t have to add other ingredients at all if you don’t want to. You definitely would not add sweetener of any type to it.
