Super easy old fashioned not rum balls, they’ll keep in fridge for a week or so!


Ingredients (makes 30 balls)

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 packet marie biscuits, crushed
  • 1 cup coconut, and some to roll balls in
  • 1/4 cup cocoa

Method

  1. Crush biscuits and mix all dry ingredients together (remember to keep some extra coconut to roll balls in).
  2. Roll mixture into bite-sized balls.
  3. Roll in coconut and refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.

  • Brilliant for Christmas finger food.

  • This is a great recipe for kids to get in and help with, a great tip is to wet hands before trying to roll into balls, makes it much easier to get coconut to stick also you get more balls as you dont eat it off your hands to try and get it off. hehe, I also put the coconut into a freezer bag and drop the balls into the bag and roll around to coat with coconut you can do 2-3 balls at a time if you want, Try adding some chopped up glace cherries to it, but dont need them, use chocolate ripples for a more chocolatey taste, heaps of bickies work good but the original recipe is great.
