Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1 Egg
  • 1 tbs Yeast
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa powder
  • 1tbs Veg oil
  • Warm water

Method

  1. Mix all dry ingredients
  2. Add the egg, oil and water and mix until smooth, cover and put it in the fridge overnight
  3. For breakfast, cook and enjoy


  • Never had a chocolate pancake before. Definitely different but topped with ice-cream would make a great dessert

  • My kids love chocolate pancake ! I often add raw chocolate chips and serve it with Greek yoghurt, cherries and strawberries.
