The kids are bound to LOVE this Clinker slice!


Ingredients (makes 20 pieces)

  • 180g Clinkers
  • 250g malt biscuits
  • 200g sweetened condensed milk
  • 125g butter
  • 250g chocolate

Method

  1. Crush biscuits and Clinkers in a food processor. Mix together.
  2. Heat condensed milk and butter in saucepan on low. When melted, mix with Clinkers and biscuit mix.
  3. Spread into 17 cm x 27 cm baking dish or pan and allow to set in the fridge.
  4. Melt chocolate and pour over slice. Return to fridge to set.

Notes

Substitute the Clinkers with any of the following: M&M's, Smarties, Peppermint Crisp, lolly bananas, Maltesers, lolly raspberries or Jaffas.

  • Interesting sounding recipie. Could play about with different lollies.

  • Oh my gosh, amazing! I haven’t had clinkers in yonks. But this looks and sounds so delish, especially with the condensed milk – yummo. I’m drooling just thinking about eating it lol.

  • This is delicious! It’s also wonderful with gummy bears and marshmallows! If you add eskimo lollies, it’s basically an NZ Lolly Cake! Thanks for sharing! :D

  • Clinkers are my weakness. I think I’ll have to make some of these during the holidays and as a special treat for the kids (and me)
