Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples
  • 1 frozen pie crust
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ cup flour
  • 3 tbls butter, softened

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Peel, core and slice apples.
  2. Next, combine ½ cup sugar and cinnamon, toss with apple slices. At this point you can toss the apple slices into your pie dish.
  3. Then combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour, and butter until it is crumbly. Crumble this on top of your apples in the pie shell.
  4. Bake for 35 minutes or until crumble starts to turn a golden brown.
