This fried rice is very easy to make and great for a quick snack or side dish to your dinner.


Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 2-3 cups Rice
  • 1 Onion
  • 1-2 Carrots
  • 1 Fresh corn
  • 2 Slices of Bacon
  • 2-3 Big Button Mushrooms

Method

  1. Cook rice, while the rice is cooking, chop up all your vegies and bacon.
  2. Place bacon, onion and carrots in a frying pan cook until lightly brown add in your corn kernels (no need to boil the corn) and mushrooms.
  3. Add your cooked rice give a stir and there you have it fried rice, so simple.

Notes... I have been making this for a while the kids love it.
