A fresh iced tea kids and adults enjoy. Great for kids parties.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • Fruit tea (T2 Twinkle Berry or similar is great)
  • Edible flowers
  • Mint
  • Sparkling mineral water

Method

  1. Make a pot of fruit tea and let it cool. Mix with water to make around 1L. Refrigerate.
  2. Using cold fruit tea, make ice cubes and add edible flowers (fresh elderflowers are great) and fresh mint.
  3. Once ice cubes are set, place ice cubes, sparkling mineral water and remaining cold fruit tea into glasses and enjoy.

Notes

My daughter loves this, especially the way the flowers elderflowers move in the drink. Making the ice cubes from the tea ensures that ice doesn't dilute the drink. Really fun for play dates for primary school aged children. It's great if you use home grown flowers and mint!
