These Healthy Apple Donuts are a quick snack to prepare and make with the kids and perfect for birthday parties or get togethers! The flavour combinations can be made to suit what they like and there are so many to try!
Ingredients (makes 8 apple donuts)
- 2 Granny Smith apples, cut into thick slices & core removed
- 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt
- 1/2 cup Mixed berry Greek yoghurt
- Desiccated coconut
- Chopped strawberries
- Chopped dried apricots
- Nuts & seeds
- Lay apple slices on a tray and spread with a thick layer of Yoghurt. I do half plain and half with flavoured Greek yoghurt.
- Sprinkle with your choice of assorted healthy toppings. You can drizzle with honey or Maple syrup too if you wish. Serve immediately
