This is a great alternative to commercial bought energy bars – high in energy & super foods , low in fat & sugar. A great lunchbox snack or for when you are too busy to sit & eat breakfast

Ingredients (serves 24)

  • 4 very ripe bananas
  • 1 cup pitted dates
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 cups oats
  • 3/4 cups quinoa
  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup linseed
  • 1/4 cup dried shredded coconut
  • 4 tbsp Nestle Cocoa Powder
  • 1/4 cup slivered almonds
  • 80 grams NESTLE BAKERS' CHOICE dark or milk chocolate melts

Method

  1. Blend the bananas with the dates & coconut oil till you have a chunky puree. Combine this with the remaining ingedients.
  2. Press this into a 9 x 13 pan that has been lined with baking paper. Bake 160 degrees for 45 mins
  3. When slice has cooled , remove from pan & drizzle with NESTLE BAKERS' CHOICE milk or dark chocolate melts
