This beef casserole is a great winter warmer.
Ingredients (serves 6)
- 1 kg Oyster blade, diced
- 4 Onions, diced
- 8 Tomatoes, diced
- 4 Potatoes, diced
- 2 Tbsp Cumin
- 4 Tbsp Oregano
- Heat oil in fry pan, add beef and cook on high for a couple minutes to brown and seal in juices. Set aside.
- Cook potatoes and set aside.
- Add tomatoes, onions and herbs to the pot and simmer for half an hour to reduce.
- Add beef and potatoes to the pot and simmer for 3 hours.
