Ingredients (makes 1 Tray)

  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tbsp Gelatine
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Essence
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice

Method

  1. Place sugar, water and gelatine in saucepan. Stir until dissolved.
  2. Boil without stirring for 10 minutes. Allow to cool.
  3. Add vanilla and lemon juice and beat until thick and white. Colour may be added at this time.
  4. Pour into a greased tin. When set use heart shape biscuit cutter to cut and toss in coloured sugar or 100's and 1000's.

Notes... Decorating ideas are endless! Use different shape cutters, drizzle melted chocolate, even add lollies with the help of a little icing.
