Easy and yummy !

Ingredients (makes 35 Biscuits)

  • 1 3/4 cups Plain flour
  • 8 Egg yolks
  • 1 cup Caster sugar
  • 1/2 Lemon , zest

Method

  1. Preheat oven to180
  2. Beat yolks and sugar with a mixer until pale yellow then stir in lemon zest
  3. Blend in flour until you get a soft dough
  4. Place on lightly floured surface and roll into a long cylinder about5 cm in diameter
  5. Cut off slices and put on paper lined baking trays
  6. Bake for 15-20 mins

Notes... This is a great way to use the egg yolks left over when you make almond bread ! And you have two treats on hand !
