This mix is my base for most mince recipes including Spag Bol, Cannelloni, Pasta Bakes, Pastry Parcels, and really anything you use mince and hidden veg in.  It is really tasty and so versatile

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 500g good quality mince
  • 2 zucchini, grated
  • 1 brown onion, grated
  • 2 carrots, grated
  • garlic, and herbs to taste
  • salt and pepper

Method

  1. Cook veg and garlic until just cooked, allow to cool
  2. Mix veg, and herbs, salt and pepper with the mince meat of your choice

  • This is pretty much my exact recipe too! So good…

  • Thanx for sharing your recipe, I would increase the veggies

  • I can’t understand why you need to cook the grated vegetables separately first unless the mince has been cooked separately.
