These milky ice blocks are a great treat on a hot day.

Ingredients (makes 8 )

  • 1 Packet of instant vanilla pudding
  • Milk
  • Berries, fresh or frozen

Method

  1. Make pudding with milk, as directed on the package.
  2. Pour a small amount into icy pole holders or paper cups. Add some berries of your choice. Fill with remaining pudding mixture. If using paper cups, insert paddle pop sticks now.
  3. Freeze until done. Tear off the paper cup when serving.

Notes

Sometimes I add a touch more milk than what's on the pudding packet. How many serves you get will depend upon the size of your ice-blocks.

  • You could possibly use a different flavour instant pudding is there is another one besides chocolate. The flavour of the berries would be lost in chocolate.
I haven’t had instant pudding for years.
