Hello!

  • Difficulty Easy
  • 8 Ingredients

An easy to make, delicious to eat, slow cooked roast alternative.

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1.5 kg Beef, blade cut
  • 110 grams Butter
  • 4 Peppercorns
  • 1 Tbsp Dill, fresh
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp Parsley, fresh
  • 1 tsp Dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp Onion powder

Method

  1. Put the beef in your slow cooker with the butter on top.
  2. Sprinkle remaining ingredients on top of beef and butter.
  3. Cook on low for 7-8 hours, depending on your slow cooker.

Notes

Once the roast is finished cooking I use the left over juice to make an amazingly delicious gravy to serve with the roast. Just mix 2 Tbsp of the juice with 2 Tbsp of flour in a saucepan to create a roux. Then add the remaining juice by the cup and mix well over a low heat. Stop adding juice when it gets to your desired thickness. This really completes the meal.
