This ‘no nuts’ trail mix is perfect for the kids lunchboxes.

Ingredients (makes 1 Jar)

  • 1/4 cup Dried apricots
  • 1/4 cup Pepitas
  • 2-3 Tbsp Sultanas
  • 1/4 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Banana chips
  • 2-3 Tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 2-3 Tbsp Choc chip bits

Method

  1. Combine all ingredients and add into a jar.
  2. Pour into a serving size container for school lunch snacks.
  3. Great for kids to sprinkle on top of yoghurt as well!

Notes

You can add any dry fruit your child likes, a variety of seeds and cereal. All measurements are approximate as I usually just throw in whatever I have on hand.

  • Great combi ! Only a pity that’s so difficult to buy unsweetened banana chips at the shops… However you can make those yourself :) My kids like no-nut trail mixes in the lunchbox.

  • A good one for shopping too as there is something healthy for them to snack on and no need for trying to find something healthy at shops.
