Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 Large red apple
  • 1/4 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Ginger
  • 1/8 tsp Ground cardamon
  • Pinch of ground cloves

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 110 degrees. Line a tray with baking paper.
  2. Core the apple and slice thinly. Combine the spices together in a plastic bag. Add the apple and toss gently to coat.
  3. Lay the apple on the baking tray and cook for approximately 60-90 minutes. Cooking time will depend upon the thickness of your slices. I usually start checking from about 50 minutes.
