Ingredients (makes 40 )

  • Wholemeal Pita bread
  • Spice mix
  • A spoonful Olive oil

Method

  1. Place pita bread on a tray in the oven at 160 degrees spread olive oil and your spice mix I used saxa chilli flakes.
  2. When pita is hard take out to cool them break into chip peices.

Notes

The healthier chip alternative.

  • Sounds good. I keep these in the freezer as they’re also great to use as pizza bases !

  • I’m not sure about the spice mix but other than that I’m am willing to give it a go I like the idea of having this with hummus

  • I do the same thing with Pita bread and often spread and sprinkle other foods on top of the bread for something a little different. Pita breads make a great snack. Thanks for sharing.

  • yum this would be great to whip up for the kids lunch boxes from some pita bread as we all know there is always one lonely wrap left in the packet!
