These pizza scrolls make a great addition to a school lunchbox.

Ingredients (makes 10 scrolls)

  • 2 sheets puff pastry
  • 10 sliced salami
  • 2 tablespoons pizza or pasta sauce
  • handful grated cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees. Let puff pastry come to room temperature and spread pasta sauce over it all. Sprinkle with cheese and add salami slices then add more cheese.
  2. Roll up puff pastry until you get a tight log and cut into 3cm slices.
  3. Put onto baking paper and brush with milk. Bake for 12-15 mins.

Notes... You can change the ingredients to Vegemite and cheese or Nutella (not for school).

  • We use just simple ham and grated cheese the kids and partner just love it. We usually just do a pack of sheets at he same time pizza, nutella and vegemite and cheese> i find its easier if the cheese is thinly grated.
