So quick and easy and delicious!

Ingredients (makes 1 x 8" loaf)

  • 2 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 5-6 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3/4 cup milk and water mixed
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • a few sprigs fresh rosemary
  • grated parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Sift the flour , salt and baking powder into a bowl
  2. Stir in the olive oil and garlic then add the milk/ water to make a dough
  3. Knead gently on a floured board
  4. Roll into rough round shape and pat onto an ungreased 8' round flat tray . poke holes all over with your finger
  5. Drizzle with a little olive oil and sprinkle with parmesan cheese and rosemary
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes in 200 deg. oven

Notes... You could put olives on top if you want to. We had this with soup but it would be great to use as a dipping bread with oil and vinegar or a dip.
