This green tea latte is delicious!

Ingredients (serves 1 | makes 1 drink )

  • 1/2 tsp matcha tea
  • 1 cup Almond milk
  • Some Sweetener if you like

Method

  1. Add almond milk to saucepan and warm slowly. (Can use milk frother or coffee machine if you prefer)
  2. Sift in the matcha powder and add in some sweetener (optional).
  3. Heat up slowly over medium and stir until hot (no need to boil it just hot enough for a hot drink).

Notes

You can add a handful of ice cubes to turn it into a cold drink.

  • I had so many containers of matcha tea at one stage, now I have none. This does look good, might have to buy more matcha

  • I’ve never tried matcha before but I really want to now. Already use almond milk so this would be ideal for me. Thanks for sharing!

  • Need to find out where to get this tea and hopefully I will like it as it sounds yummy. The picture is great too.

    • You can find the matcha powder in most Asian or Japanese grocery stores in Aust. Small bottles but will last a bit. I’ve found the picture online. From memory it’s under $5. There are few different ones but I like this one. Good for making matcha icecream or cake with this one too
