It has a hint of heat and a very full bodied flavour with the combination of the garlic and balsamic the smokey salt and oil just adds a richness . Really healthy


Ingredients (serves 2)

  • chia seeds 1tbs
  • 2 cups chopped iceberg lettace
  • 1 tomato finely wedged
  • 2tbs pickled jalapeño chillies
  • 1tbs cruched garlic
  • 1/4 cup pickled jalapeño juice
  • 2tbs balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 5tps smoked himalayan salt
  • 4 tbs smoked ovile oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped rocket
  • 1 tbs finley chopped parsley

Method

  1. Combine and mix all ingredients into a bowl and serve

  • Thank you for providing this recipe. Will have to go look for some of these ingredients as never heard of them. Hoping it does have a kick to it that my oldest likes plus my mum both into really spicy foods.

  • This salad is something unique with its mixed ingredients of greens and jalapeño juice and chillies. I can’t give it to my children because of these spicy ingredients although I wouldn’t mind making it for myself.
