This slow cooked chuck steak is healthy and an easy recipe. Add wine for extra flavour and other herbs.


Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1kg Chuck steak
  • 8 Tomatoes
  • 2 Onions
  • 5 cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Parsley
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil

Method

  1. Heat oil in pan. Crush the garlic and chop the onion and add to hot pan. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Add beef. Do not cook the beef, just seal and brown on high heat and remove.
  3. Transfer the mixture of beef, onions and garlic to the slow cooker. Chop the tomatoes and add to the slow cooker. Add parsley to the slow cooker.
  4. Cook on low for 6 hours

Notes... Serve with rice and veggies.
