This slow cooked chuck steak is healthy and an easy recipe. Add wine for extra flavour and other herbs.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 1kg Chuck steak
- 8 Tomatoes
- 2 Onions
- 5 cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Parsley
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- Heat oil in pan. Crush the garlic and chop the onion and add to hot pan. Cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add beef. Do not cook the beef, just seal and brown on high heat and remove.
- Transfer the mixture of beef, onions and garlic to the slow cooker. Chop the tomatoes and add to the slow cooker. Add parsley to the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 6 hours
