Easy slow cooker fudge

Ingredients (makes 30 pieces)

  • 500g milk chocolate
  • 395g condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter

Method

  1. Turn slow cooker on to low. Put all ingredients into the slow cooker and cook for an hour.
  2. Stir every 15 minutes until the chocolate has melted and the ingredients are combined. It'll start to look a bit bubbly/mousse like.
  3. Pour into a lined baking tray and embellish with any chocolates or lollies of your choice. Refrigerate until set (best overnight)

Notes

This makes a great gift to give to people for Christmas. Package up small amounts in cellophane bags.

  • This looks so interesting!! I’m thinking of trying it, using dark chocolate. But I’ve just got the Philips All-in-One Cooker. I can slow cook there but having to open it and stir every 15 minutes could be quite complicated. Is the stirring really necessary?

    • I am unsure if the ingredients would combine as well if you didn’t mix it every 15 minutes. It ensures that they are well combined and not stick to the slow cooker base. You can also do make this recipe on the stove top too, it takes a lot less time that way.

      • Thanks so much for your answer, Shell. Maybe I try it on the stove then. I will let you know how it goes. Cheers!!!
