Simple and delicious on its own, or as a base for trickier ice cream recipes.
This recipe makes wonderful smoothies too! Just add 1/2 cup extra milk, and any greens you’d like!
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 Bananas
- 2tbsp Honey
- 1tsp Vanilla
- 2 cups Milk of your choice
- Blend together in food processor.
Notes... Serve immediately, or freeze in airtight container until needed.
Add 1tsp cinnamon;
Swap half the banana for frozen mango, add 2tbsp LSA meal or stir through chopped macadamia nuts after blending, to achieve mango weis bar flavour;
Add frozen strawberries and chopped dark chocolate;
Add cherry liquer, glace cherries, coconut, and dark chocolate for cherry ripe;
Add 1-2tbsp softened peanut butter, 1tsp extra honey;
Add 1-2tbsp softened peanut butter, stir/marble in 1/8-1/4 cup jam before serving for PB & J flavour'
Add 1/8 cup top-n-fill, chopped chocolate, 1/4tsp sea salt;
Add splash of rum or brandy, sultanas, fruit peel, and crushed nuts for christmas cake flavour;
Add popcorn, salted caramel, chocolate, fruit, pretzels, maple syrup, crushed cookies, the options are endless!
