Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1kg strawberries, chopped
  • 500g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon (Juice and peel)

Method

  1. Rinse the strawberries without stalks, put them in the inner pot and add sugar. Leave for an hour.
  2. The pot with strawberries is placed inside the appliance. Add the juice and lemon peel and vanilla sugar.
  3. Close the lid, press the STEW button, set cooking time for 1 hour and 30 minutes and press START
  4. After 30 minutes open the lid and leave until the desired consistency is achieved.
  5. While hot, add jam to sterilised jars and seal.

Notes

Set valve to SEAL position.

  • It’s a shame I don’t have an all-in-one cooker – this looks amazing!

  • Didn’t work in our case. We usually make jam in the microwave. It didn’t boil once the lid was open… having a lot of trouble with this product which was a Mother’s Day gift.

  • I’ve made homemade jam before! Was fun! I put them in little jars and labelled them “made with love” and gave them to all my elderly friends! The absolutely loved them!
