Great instead of breatfast when your in a run


Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 oranges, peeled
  • 100g fresh pineapple
  • 1 green apple, cut into quarters (use skin, seeds and stem in recipe)
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 tbs ground linseed
  • 1 teas honey (optional)
  • 3 tbs natural yoghurt
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 1 cup ice

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients into a Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid. Select variable 1.
  2. Turn machine on and quickly increase speed to variable 10 then to high. Use the tamper in the beginning to push the fruit down into the blades and blend for 30 seconds until combined and creamy.
  3. Pour into glasses and enjoy

Notes... If you don't have a Vitamix machine, put all ingredients into a blender and mix until smooth and creamy
