Smoothie Bowls are such a healthy and fun breakfast to enjoy. Really quick to prepare, but so good for you- especially your skin! Greek yoghurt contains lactic acid, an organic compound that aids in diminishing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines by tightening and shrinking pores, while the strawberries, bananas, passionfruit and blueberries all contain vitamin C (among other great things) which has great anti aging benefits, but also helps to protect your skin from damage.

Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 2 cups Greek yoghurt
  • 1/4 cup Milk of your choice
  • 1 Banana, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 punnet Blueberries
  • 1/2 TBS Honey
  • 1/4 cup Muesli
  • 1 Passionfruit
  • 4 Strawberries, thinly sliced
  • Desiccated coconut

Method

  1. Place Greek yoghurt, blueberries, milk and honey into a blender, and blend until smooth and combined
  2. Place into a bowl and layer the banana, muesli, passionfruit, strawberries and coconut across the top
  3. Enjoy!

Notes

Try blending the yoghurt with other fruits or add in some nuts and seeds! Be creative and play around to find the combination that you like the best!

  • I have never tried a smoothie bowl. They look amazing, but I tend to opt just for a smoothie. I could make this at home, but again, the ingredients I would have in my smoothie are the same as what make up the rest of the bowl.
