many many other variations can be made to suit yourself and your guests. here are a few options I've made including some vegetarian and vegan options.
turkey taco cups
dips with veggie sticks in them
spicy prawn and avocado
strawberries mint and feta
goats cheese and spinach
pulled pork
bruchetta
tuna and mayo
mushrooms balsamic and spring onions
Asian chicken salad
chocolate and raspberries
egg and lettuce
any leftovers really.
Also if i have any leftover the kids love them in their lunch boxes :)

Ingredients (serves 6)

  • 1pkt won ton wrappers (in the fridge at the supermarket)
  • 150g smoked salmon
  • 250g cream cheese
  • 2tsp horesradish
  • 2tbs mayo
  • 1 bunch dill
  • half cucumber diced
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method

  1. I've since learned if you snip off all 4 corners of the won ton wrappers before placing in a greased muffin tin, the shape is better and no burnt corners.
  2. bake for 5 min or until golden
  3. remove from oven and cool.
  4. these can be made in advance and kept in an air tight container for up to a week.
  5. mix in a blender or kitchen aid, cream cheese mayo horse radish salt and pepper and a little chopped dill (reserve some dill for garnish)
  6. spoon or pipe cheese mixture into won ton cups, add diced cucumber and top with smoked salmon and a sprig of dill.
