This Yoda sandwich is a quick and easy recipe for kids and Star Wars fans!

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1 slice bread
  • 1 slice cheese
  • Cut Cucumbers
  • 2 Sultanas

Method

  1. Cut bread in half (for Yoda's body) and with the other half cut a circle (Yoda's head) from it.
  2. Butter the bread if you desire. Cut the cheese slice in half. Place 1/2 slice of cheese on the bread for Yoda's body. With the other half of cheese cut two circles from it to make eyes, slightly smaller than the cucumber slices.
  3. Cut cucumbers to look like ears, eyes, mouth and arms of Yoda the Jedi master.
  4. Use sultanas to resemble eye balls, pop onto the circle cheese.

Notes

My son was sick and wasn't eating anything. I made this sandwich which made him smile instantly. He then ate the whole thing.

  • Character sandwiches are so much fun for the kids, so many ones to choose to make. A lot of work for mum though and really difficult if you’re not great at art and crafts
