I am usually quite a festive person! But i must say, this year for some reason, the ‘Bah Humbug’ bug (or so to speak) has got me! I think it’s a combination of things – the worry and stress of families coming together who don’t get along, the chaos involved with getting organised for a busy day and attempting to head to the shops during the busiest time of year! I have to keep taking deep breaths, counting to 10 and trying to simplify! Shopping online, ensuring family meetings and functions and clear and organised and most importantly, taking a step back and enjoying this wonderous time of year with my son, who loves carols, all things sparkly and bright and general Christmas cheer! Hoping i am not alone in feeling overwhelmed, and also hopeful that as the weeks fly by i may actually get to enjoy Christmas!
