Hello!

I was so anxious about flying for 8 hours alone with my 6 months old daughter. She is a cranky baby and what they call a high-need baby. She cannot even stay for more than 15 mins in the car let alone 8 hours in a plane!

After checking in our luggages, I went to the custom officer. To my surprised I had overstayed my visa so had to be detained in their office until further notice. I was terrified because it’s almost boarding time and I am holding a crying baby. Luckily they were kind enough to give me leniency seeing that I have an infant with me.

I manage to board the plane within the final call.

Throughout the flight, my girl wouldn’t let me sit. She would only calm down if I walk around the cabin. So I did….It was the longest 8 hours in my life.

When we landed, I couldn’t be happier. It was over! I did it! Tiring yes but Oh so proud of myself!

  • You deserve accolades. You have done it now. Next time, you will be more confident as you will know what to expect. Was the fear factor worse than the actual flight or the other way around?
