It’s funny how when you do one thing it snowballs and has a chain reaction? My kettle looked like it needed a clean and polish and next thing I know I’m cleaning the stove top, oven and all my appliances! For something that was only going to take me five minutes to do, it ended up taking most of the day! At least my kitchen will be lovely and shiny for a day or two!

  • I do exactly the same! I start off doing one thing, then get sidetracked by something else that needs doing and before you know it – bam! half a day has gone! It does make you feel good when you see what you’ve achieved though!

  • I am the same! Once I get going, I actually find it rather therapeutic!

  • that happens to me every time I go to clean something. Yesterday I went to go through the fridge and throw out old stuff, to make room for my mum’s food as she is visiting us for a few weeks and the next thing, I’m pulling everything out and cleaning the inside and pulling out all the shelves to clean! My fridge is now sparkling and smells nice!

    • It is amazing how much impending visitors can instigate a clean up! The same thing happens here too! :)
