After many years of being just my daughter and I, I have finally met a wonderful man that loves my daughter as his own and has changed our world. Crazy but true, we met at a funeral! We hit it off talking about the beautiful lady we had both known and love grew from there. He didn’t sweep me off me feet but walked with me through the minefield that being in a real relationship after almost 12 years has in store. He is loving, caring, genuine and an all-round amazing person, we can’t believe that we lived in the same town for over 40 years but had never met!! We are now planning a trip around Australia in a caravan, schooling our girl through distance education and making the most of this second chance we’ve been given. Don’t give up, life is way to short!
