Simone,I read your story and I had to respond, since, I can relate so well, even though my boy is now 25 years old! Thank you so much for sharing. I still remember the moment my son decided to give up breast feeding at 13 months. He went on to playgroup, just over a year later, and watched another mother breast feeding her baby and her toddler. This prompted him came over to me and ask ” Mummy, tell me, why did I give up breast feeding?”
So, you may need to be prepared for that one. Treasure the memories and feel happy in the knowledge that you have given him the best start nutritionally and emotionally. My son never needed a dummy and has always thrived. I am sure your son will also,
